Using a mix of leaves from different regions of the country, and combining them to highlight a range of seasonal colors, Catherine creates these original collages in a striking array of palettes.  From collecting and pressing to preserving and framing, each collage involves more than seven separate steps over a three to four month time period.  To preserve the beauty in each collage, all leaves are treated with a UV protectant prior to use and all original collages are framed with acid free materials and UV resistant glazing. All framing is standard with Neilsen Bainbridge's metal "Frosted Walnut" frame.  In short, each is specially prepared to give a lifetime of enjoyment.
